Ladybird was great! Staff was wonderful but you have a problem heating the rooms.Tony Starita is a warm, receptive, flexible tour guide. So knowledgeable and eager to please us!

The trip to South Africa was our company incentive. All senior staff. We were 17 in total. They delivered everything they promised. The Safari offered 3 properties over the 8 days and days were filled with adventure. All meals and excursions included, plus private driver. Our Delta airline flights were direct. I just returned today, from the 8-Day safari i booked in December 2023 with Go Touch Down. They promised a life-changing trip and it definitely held up to this promise! Everything was flawless organized and the support of the team online and on location was outstanding! The communication was perfect and all questions were quickly answere. The lodges were all very nice, so was the food and the entire service-personell. The entire trip was a really outstanding and i would definitely use Go Touch Down again, without question!

We have travelled to South Africa before using Go Touchdown. Their products are fantastic, the safari camps and staff are friendly, welcoming and comfortable. The safaris are always productive and you will learn fascinating details about the animals and vegetation from your guides. The food is top notch and always served with a great African welcoming smile. We feel that what you get out of the safari camps is priceless and Go Touchdown has put together a great team to deliver it. We will be doing another one with them soon.

Thabo was an excellent guide and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Jonathan was amazing and very patient. I loved each location each better than the next. I would absolutely recommend this travel agency.

The entire booking process was smooth and organized and we appreciated the care in all the details. Deon Barnard got us started and Lucia Barnard and her team arranged every detail for our 16 day trip. We flew to Cape Town and stayed overnight at Hotel Verde by the airport. Our driver picked us up and took us the next morning to our lovely boutique hotel on the beach! Ashwill was our driver, tour guide and body guard for the next 3 days. We had a great time in CapeTown. We next flew to Johannesburg and Thabo picked us up to spend the next 8 days at the 2 safaris. Royal Morubisi was where we met 5 other guests and were treated like royalty! The resort was so lovely! Jolandie showed us 4 of the Big Five Animals and we were thrilled! The next 4 days were at Tshukudu and Shadrack was our game guide and made it his mission to find a Leopard! We never did but enjoyed all the fun facts about trees, birds, animal tracks, and termites! We spent the next few days in Victoria Falls and had time to relax. Our hotel was on the Zambezi River. We enjoyed the entertainment, the food, the baboons, and the hippo that came ashore to graze! The whole adventure was fun filled with many memories of the lovely South African people who made sure everything went smoothly and we were happy. We enjoyed every minute! And every minute went off without a hitch! Now we are home planning our next trip with Go Touch Down!

What a wonderful second experience of a lifetime. The food was very tasteful, the chief and staff did an amazing job. Our field guides, Mr Johnson and Lucas were great. They knew all about the animals and were very good with educating us on them. Our tour guide, Thabo was an excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the area and had a lot of patience with our group. I enjoyed myself so much, I will be back.

This was my first time travelling to Africa and I must say that the entire process from booking to post-travel was seamless and exceptional. I met Dion, Lucia and the Go Touch Down team at the New York Travel Show in January 2025. I was reluctant about travelling solo, but they put me at ease. I chose to travel in June, and the team communicated with me the entire time. They answered any questions or concerns I had, they provided all of the details I would need to know such as itinerary, meeting times and places, travel guide info, emergency contacts, etc. They made suggestions on where to stay on day zero (I flew in a day early to ensure I wouldn't miss any connections) and offered to book my local flights (I flew to Cape Town). They took my dietary information and any other details from me that would make my trip comfortable. When I arrived at the Royal Morubisi River Lodge in South Africa, I was treated like a superstar! I was very impressed with the hospitality and kindness of the staff. The lodge itself was beautiful!! Clean, contemporary, rustic, elevated decor. Definitely five star. The chef was magnificent! The food was one of the highlights of the trip. I looked forward to having 3 course meals every day, served on a beautifully decorated plated table, just simply classy. The safari was a dream. We saw 4 of the big five (3 of them on day one!). It was truly an incredible experience. I only wish that I saw more of Johannesburg other than being on the game reserve, or that there was more entertainment at the lodge. Next, I flew to Cape Town. My driver was so cool (Tony)! And very protective. At first, I was being difficult because I'm not used to people being so kind to me and protective like that. But I later realized that that is just how they are. They are hospitable, kind people and they wanted to make sure that I was happy and satisfied. Also, because I was travelling solo, they wanted to keep me safe. I respect that! My sister and I recently returned from an incredible tour throughout Cape Town and I can’t recommend Go Touch Down highly enough. While the administrative side was a little rough, the actual experience was fantastic! Our tour guide, Johnathan, was truly exceptional—knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and natural beauty of the region. His insights added so much depth to every stop on the itinerary. The accommodations throughout the tour were absolutely wonderful! Each of the three hotels offered comfort, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere after our daily adventures. The only minor downside was the food at the first hotel, Shark Bay, which didn’t quite match the high standards set by the rest of the trip. That said, it didn’t detract from the overall experience and I’m already looking forward to planning another trip in the next few years.
